Info Here

Designed with comfort and bass response in mind, the body length of my Model E is the same as a dreadnought but with a smaller 15-inch lower bout. The waist is long and lean which allows the player’s arm to go over a narrower part of the body.

At home in the hands of both fingerstyle players and flatpickers, tall players as well as small, this is my most popular model and my personal favorite.

What's best about the E is just how much warmth and depth comes out of such a comfortable guitar. Playability, tone and articulation are first. After that we can design dream inlays if you want.
"That's the finest instrument I've had the pleasure to play in my life. 12 Frets of glorious music."
--- Peter Pirc 2024

"Kathy, I just have to tell you how much I love this guitar. There is not a single thing that could be better. Thank you so much. You are THE best!! --- Jim 2024

The Model F Grand Auditorium is the guitar designed to fill up a big room with sound. The Model F has a growly bass, beautiful trebles, smooth mids and the capacity for aggressive, dynamic fingerstyle or rhythm playing. Balance and articulation are right there.

This is a big guitar, but the deep waist of the Model F allows it to sit comfortably low for playing while seated.

Power, presence, definition, sustain, beauty. Perfect.

"Dear Kathy and Jimmi -- Thank you for this labor of love which will bring me and others many years of joy.
...... Michael Nouri (singer/guitarist and actor of stage and screen)

"I own an amazing 2010 Kathy Wingert Model F in Cuban Mahogany and Adirondack Spruce. It also sports a one of a kind Jimmi Wingert headstock inlay that Kathy and I dreamed up and Jimmi flawlessly delivered. This is a one of a kind dream guitar that delivers on stage and off. Kathy's work is second to none. I'm thrilled to own one of her amazing custom guitars."
    ......Svea Norton (singer/guitarist) 2010
"... you have always made the best attempts to insure longevity/playability of your creations. Mine still plays like butter, since 2010, thanks to your neck design for one..."

  • Lower Bout 14.5"

My Concert Muse (CM and CM cutaway) are well balanced for fingerstyle playing. This size and shape is as familiar as Granny's quilt. There is a sweetness and clarity to the tone that will invite your muse to show up and deliver inspiration.

This is a very comfortable guitar to play, and despite its smaller size, have plenty of bass.

Like the well-known vintage size and shaped it is modeled after, this guitar is a fingerstyle guitar. Flatpicking won't help it shine, but Swing does work, and work well.

Players call them responsive and enjoy the dynamic range and nuance.

"What a wonderful (Concert Muse) you have made for your 100th guitar... I tuned it up to DADGAD and could hardly stop playing it. The tone is loud, bright, and complex. Tons of sustain. And pretty well balanced for a brand new guitar. This one is fun to play right out of the box! The setup is ideal and the neck feels like an old friend."

An invention of centuries past, these vintage inspired instruments are part of a movement! If you don't know how to get a leg up, visit HarpGuitars.net.
I have three main harp guitar models, all based on Dyer string spacing. It's the right thing to do. The starting price for a harp guitar is $27,500 with mahogany or bubingaback and sides and a very fine Italian spruce top. The tops that I have selected for these guitars are outstanding.

Due to difficulty sourcing cases, I usually modify a good keyboard shell by custom cutting foam, which is then padded out with crushed velvet like most guitar cases.
I am proud of my association with Stephen Bennett, who joined the Wingert family of players over a decade ago.

Widely regarded as one of the world's finest harp guitarists, Stephen Bennett has developed a highly melodic style that manifests itself in his original compositions and his arrangements of jazz, pop, and traditional tunes.

"My Kathy Wingert harp guitar is an instrument exquisite to behold and an absolute delight to play, both in terms of how it feels to play it and the sound that flows forth. The tone is fat and rich and round and full and sweet and strong all at the same time. Those qualities are consistent from the lowest sub-bass (tuned as low as an E one octave below the standard 6th string) all the way to the highest frets of the first string (which - thanks to the elegant cutaway - I can easily reach)!

I love this harp guitar and simply can’t stop playing it."

    Stephen Bennett
